With a Masters in Environmental Public Policy and a Bachelors in International
Affairs, my interests have always aligned with UNEP's mission and I am certain
that an opportunity to work with UNEP RONA will provide me with the perfect
learning opportunity to better understand the UN system.
I recently completed a two-year Junior Professional Associate post at the World
Bank, where in addition to many other projects I worked with a team to develop
and implement an award-winning pilot project that explores the possible uses of
crowdsourcing platforms to facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building
around eco-friendly construction. I enjoyed this work and hope to learn more
about the ways that UNEP incorporates innovative solutions into its projects and
initiatives. Prior to my work at the World Bank, I also focused on environmental
and clean energy issues while working for a number of NGOs and the U.S.
Government.
I am thrilled to join the team and look forward to being able to contribute to
UNEP's work on climate change, resource efficiency and migratory species.
