Paloma Friedman
Canada
A
Montreal, Canada native, I graduated from McGill University in 2008 with a
Bachelor of Arts and Science in Mathematics and Linguistics, and from Concordia
University in 2009 with a Graduate Diploma in Journalism.
I have worked for several publications and written on a variety of topics,
including avant-garde punctuation, congressional lobbyists and shale-gas
fracking. My growing passion for sustainability and conservation led me to
pursue a communications internship with UNEP RONA, where I have had the great
fortune of attending enlightening events and working alongside a welcoming group
of people.
My hope for the future is to use both new and old media to communicate urgent
environmental issues to the general public, as well as study the effect of
economic activity on the natural environment.
